On-Prem Agent — Installation & Configuration

The Graften On-Prem Agent is a single binary that discovers and audits on-premise infrastructure, reporting directly to the Graften platform. It supports system posture collection (OS, patching, firewall, encryption, AD) plus optional collectors for SNMP network devices, hypervisors, storage arrays and security appliances.

Install

Run as Administrator/root with a token from the portal:

macOS/Linux: sudo ./graften-agent-darwin install --token gft_YOUR_TOKEN Windows: .graften-agent.exe install --token gft_YOUR_TOKEN

Config location

macOS: /Library/Application Support/Graften/config.json Linux: /etc/graften-agent/config.json Windows: C:ProgramDataGraftenconfig.json

Optional collectors (add to config.json)

SNMP: scan_cidrs, communities (default: public) Hypervisors: vcenter, proxmox, hyperv, nutanix Storage: netapp, pure, dellemc, hpe_nimble Appliances: f5, panos, fortigate, cisco_asa, checkpoint

Manual run

sudo ./graften-agent-darwin check
